Working principle

The plastic crusher mainly utilizes the principles of mechanics. When plastic raw materials enter the crushing chamber from the feeding port, the electric motor drives the moving blade disc to rotate at high speed. During the high-speed rotation of the moving blade, it forms a relative motion trend with the fixed blade, and uses the gap formed between the moving blade and the fixed blade to create a cutting edge for plastic crushing and shearing, thereby impacting and cutting the plastic raw materials. Plastic raw materials are gradually broken into small pieces, which enter the screening chamber and are filtered through the sieve. Plastic particles that meet the particle size are discharged into the storage bin through the discharge port, or installed with a transmission device and directly enter the plastic injection molding machine or extruder for processing. Particles that cannot pass through the sieve will re-enter the crushing chamber for secondary crushing until they meet the particle size requirements.

Main components

  • Feed inlet: used for feeding plastic raw materials to be crushed.
  • Crushing chamber: It is the core part of a plastic crusher, usually welded from high-strength steel plates, capable of withstanding high pressure. There are cutting tools installed in the crushing room for crushing plastic raw materials.

  • Cutting tool: generally a high-speed rotating saw blade or blade, installed inside the crushing chamber, used for impact and cutting of plastic raw materials.
  • Sieve: located below the crushing chamber, used to filter out plastic particles that meet the particle size requirements.
