What can a metal compactor press

The compactor is a commonly used equipment for recycling and reusing scrap metal, and the recyclable waste mainly includes but is not limited to the following types:

  • Scrap steel: including scrap steel bars, nails, iron wires, steel scraps, steel powder, and fine powder obtained from crushing, screening, magnetic separation and other processes of scrap steel.
  • Waste non-ferrous metals: such as stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, including aluminum profiles (aluminum plates, aluminum tubes, aluminum profiles, etc.), aluminum powder (processed from waste aluminum materials), copper materials (copper rods, copper wires, copper pipes, etc.), copper powder (processed from waste copper materials), magnesium powder (processed from waste magnesium alloys or pure magnesium), zinc ingots, zinc shavings, and other zinc products.
  • Other metals: such as nickel metal (nickel based alloys, nickel based high-temperature alloys, etc.), as well as various alloys and non-metallic waste materials.
  • These waste materials can be compressed and processed by metal compactors to form relatively dense blocks, which are not only convenient for storage and transportation, but also improve the utilization rate of waste metals in society and greatly help environmental protection.

In addition, in practical operation, the metal compactor needs to select appropriate molds and hydraulic system parameters according to different scrap metal materials to ensure the smooth progress of the compression process and the quality and stability of the metal blocks. At the same time, the metal block press also needs to be maintained and serviced to extend its service life and improve work efficiency.
